Premier Groundworks Limited are an established groundworks and civil engineering company with an increasing client portfolio. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide-range of products and services, and this is testimony to our history of repeat orders for major clients.
With an annual turnover of approximately £5million, our sixty site and office-based personnel have been involved in projects ranging from £50,000 to £1million.
Our determination to deliver the best possible service to our clients has seen
the assessment and constant improvement of our internal systems, to attain accreditation
to the Contractors Health & Safety Scheme and the SafeContractor Scheme Award.
Our Workforce
Our highly skilled and experienced workforce hold a full range of training certificates, from dumper, roller and excavator, through to confined spaces all to a CPCS standard. 100% of our workforce are CSCS registered, and therefore are able to undertake any type of project in our respective field of groundworks and civil engineering
Our Clients
Our association with Thomas Vale, Galliford Try, Mansells, Aggregate Industries, Carillion-URS, Hanson and Inspace Developments have ensured our steady development as a major sub-contractor providing professional building services within a demanding and ever-changing industry. Through competitive tendering, we have secured repeat orders from all of these major clients.
Our very successful partnering arrangement with GallifordTry Construction, who's Northampton Schools PFI Education Construction Project has enabled us to provide continuity over a large and varied redevelopment programme. The scheme involves the construction of six completely new schools, and refurbishment and extensions to 41 other primary and secondary schools, and wth a construction value of £150million and delivering within a two year period, this is one of the largest PFI education projects ever undertaken.
Our Region
Our offices in Rushden, Northamptonshire ensure us easy access to major road
networks. With current projects in the Cambridge and Oxford areas, and upcoming
projects in Bedford and Peterborough, we are able to cover a wide area of our
local region, and as a guide we generally aim to work within a 100 mile radius
of Kettering.
